Beverly Cruse Wooten, age 69 was born on October 21, 1949 to the parentage of William Cruse and Verna Wells Cruse.  Beverly accepted Christ at an early age.

Upon completion of her high school education, Beverly enrolled in Texas Southern University where she was a member of the marching band and a majorette.  She met and married Byron C. Wooten and to this union a daughter, Tameka was born.  Beverly worked in the public school system and retired after many years of service.

On Friday, December 7, 2018 Beverly was called home.  She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; sister Henrietta Cruse and brother Michael Cruse.

She leaves precious memories to her loving daughter Tameka, and a host of close relatives and friends.

Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 - 1:30 pm at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston (77028), Rev. Sammy Holcombe, Officiating.

Interment - Private.
