Bernice Loville's Obituary
Bernice Brooks Loville, age 90, was born on August 5, 1927 to Hoy and Hortense Brooks in Leona County, Texas. Bernice was the youngest of two children and was baptized at an early age in Leona County.
At the age of seven Bernice and her sister Mae Pearl went to live with their Aunt Dessie and Uncle John Motley after their mother passed. The family later moved to Houston, Texas in 1943.
Bernice had a loving and quiet spirit with a beautiful smile. Her nickname was "Bernie" and her daughter-in-law Clara called her "Smiley". In her younger years she enjoyed attending the Goodwyn and Horn family reunions held in Madisonville, Texas and watching her favorite soaps on television.
On November 29, 2017, Bernice passed away from her earthly home to be present with our Heavenly Father.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her beloved aunt and uncle and one loving son Michael Ray Loville.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Henry Joseph Loville; her sister Mae Pearl Webber (Frank - deceased), her daughters, Jo Ann Roland (Kenneth-deceased), Ester Pearl Loville, Blanche Helen Loville, Lesley Ann Tyler (Kendall); her sons Edmon Loville (Diane), Joseph Loville (Clara), Tredwick Christopher Loville (Kris-deceased), Alexander Lamont Loville (Keisha); seventeen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017. Visitation starting at 10am followed by 11am funeral service. Services will be held at Trinity Garden Church of Christ, 7725 Sandra St., Houston, Texas 77016 - Bro. Timothy Daniels officiating.
Burial will take place at Paradise North Cemetery, 10401 W. Montgomery Rd., Houston, Texas 77088.
