1946-2023

On June 4, 1946, a baby girl was born to John Eddie Lewis, Sr. and Bernice Lewis in Hempstead, Texas. They named her Annie Carol. She accepted Christ at an early age.

Annie received her certification in nursing and worked in the medical field.

Annie had a genuine love for her family and close friends. She was full of joy, kindness, love, and laughter.

On May 21, 2023, the Lord opened Heavens' gates for Annie Carol Lewis. She was preceded in death by her (Father) John Eddie Lewis, Sr., (Mother) Bernice Lewis, (Brothers) John Eddie Lewis Jr., and Carl Lewis, (Sister) Barbara Lewis, and (Nephews) and Jerry Lewis and Dewayne Lewis.

She leaves to cherish loving memories to her sister, Janice Evon Lewis, nieces Mechia Mack and Alicia Lewis, nephews John Eddie Lewis III and DeMarcus Lewis. A host of other grand-nephews and grand-nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr, Houston, Texas 77028

A viewing will start at 10:00 am followed by an 11:00 am funeral.

Interment: Golden Gate Cemetery
