Angela Marie Sampy was born on May 24, 1960 in Houston, Texas to the late Lionel and Alice Marie Sampy. She was the fifth of six children. She graduated from Forest Brook High School formerly of the North Forest Independent School District. She continued her education at University of Texas Health Science Center, where she was also employed for twenty-four years. Angela loved her job and the people she came in contact with.

Angela was an active member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, where she diligently worked with the CCE program for over twenty-five years. She was a member and volunteer for several other organizations within the church. On August 3, 1987, Angela met and married the late Frank E. Brown. They were married for over twenty-seven years and to this union one daughter, Francesca Marie Brown was born, the love of their lives.

On January 5, 2016, Angela was called home to be with the Lord after a lengthy hospital stay. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lionel and Alice Sampy; husband, Frank E. Brown; both in-laws L.S. and Pearlie Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted daughter Francesca Marie Brown; three brothers: John, Johnny and Lee Sampy; one sister, Marsha Fontenot (James). She also leaves a host of other family members.

A Wake service will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 (6pm to 8pm)at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, TX. 77028

Viewing for Angela Brown will began at 8:45 AM, Rosary began at 9:15 AM and funeral service began at 10:00 AM. All services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016; at ST. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 6005 N Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028. Interment immediately following at Brookside Memorial Park.
